Message	I know the steering / speed sensor failed and caused the Power steering to drop out randomly. A quick replacement part and its worked perfect since. Most likely sensor/easiest one to check /swap out is the small metal square box which neighbors the ECU. (or at least that is where it was on a Right hand drive model)
